Dallas Delegation

The Dallas delegation is gathered in Philadelphia International Airport and getting excited for our trip to Ursuline Academy in Dallas, Texas. 

The five students who make up this delegation are: Mary Kate Kalinowski, Carina Colon, Brigid Morrissey, Anne Colbourn, & Julia Sparco. Amanda Neill and Mandy Williams are chaperoning.

Our delegation in South Africa was warmly welcomed to our sister school, Brescia House, in Johannesburg South Africa earlier today.  What a wonderful welcome by the headmistress and staff.

Easter in South Africa

Our South Africa delegation had the pleasure of attending Easter Vigil Mass at St. Mary's Metropolitan Cathedral in Cape Town.  The Main Celebrant was His Grace, Stephen Brislin, Archbishop of Cape Town.  On Easter Sunday the delegation traveled to Mpumalanga Airport in order to begin their safari experience at Kruger National Park.

Taking on Cape Town!

Today was our first full day in Cape Town! The city is beautiful there are mountains everywhere and the ocean in breath-taking. Unfortunately, we were not able to go up Table Mountain because of the winds, but instead we took a tour around the peninsula and all the way to the Cape of Good Hope, the most south western point in Africa. We saw dozens of penguins at Boulder's Beach and almost got close enough to touch. After a very eventful day we came back to the hotel and attended dinner at a traditional Malay restaurant! More adventures await for tomorrow when we will travel to Robben Island.
